Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

The Pharmacy Technician supports licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing
medications, managing inventory, and providing customer service. The role ensures accurate
and timely medication distribution under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications.
Receive and verify prescription orders from patients or healthcare providers.
Enter prescription information into pharmacy software systems accurately.
Measure, count, label, and package medications appropriately.
Maintain proper storage and security conditions for medications.
Manage inventory by checking stock levels and placing orders as needed.
Assist with receiving and organizing incoming pharmacy supplies and medications.
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving issues within scope of
responsibility.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment.
Process insurance claims and handle billing issues when applicable.

Working Hours
Morning and Evening shifts.
Off on alternate weekends.
